NBC's Matt Laur, who co-hosts Today on NBC News, has dropped a detailed complaint of inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace.
"Although it is the first complaint of its behavior since its inception at NBC 20 years ago, we also received reason to believe that it may not have been an individual incident," the network said in a statement.
No comments were made by Laure's representatives.
"We've been talking about a friend for 30 years, and we're all trying to get it," said Al Rucker, who is taking part in the live show on Today.
"Surprisingly, Matt Lauer was a friend of mine from NBC who was fired from his job for inappropriate sexual conduct in the workplace," US President Donald Trump wrote on Twitter.
"When will the senior officials there be kicked out of launching a lot of fake news?"
