A Californian was not allowed to take off on a self-made rocket in order to prove the fault of the Earth's theory and the theory that it was flat.
He was unable to obtain the necessary permits from the relevant government bodies. The 61-year-old Mike Hughes wanted to fly himself up to 1,800 feet (548 meters) but the authorities prevented him from doing so, the Washington Post reported.
The newspaper pointed out that Hughes did not retreat yet, did not abandon the experiment and decided to postpone only. He said he would fire his missile a week later from a private area.
"It always happens when you deal with any government agency," Hughes said.
The man confirms that he only wants to shoot "the disc in which we all live." "It will put an end to the theory of the earth as a ball," he said.
It should be noted that this amateur engineer built his rocket in the private garage and over several years of scrap metal and spent about 20 thousand dollars.
