A murderer who was sentenced to death in America escaped death after his injection failed with poison, and the perpetrators could not find a suitable vein in his arm to inject the substance.
The 69-year-old Alpha Campbell was due to be executed on Wednesday, but his health problems helped save his life and it was hard to find Ward in his arm to carry out the sentence.
Campbell was given a new chance to live for at least a year and a half, with the execution adjourned until June 5, 2019, according to a decision by the Republican governor of Ohio, USA Today reported.
