President Donald Trump on Tuesday mourned the Thanksgiving turkey ceremony at the Rose Garden in the White House, with the participation of First Lady Melania and their son Baron.
Dremstick, born in Minnesota, got about 60 percent of the 40,000 votes in a White House poll on the turkey that Trump voters wanted to pardon.
Thanksgiving is an occasion celebrated by the Americans on November 23 each year, including the meeting of family members and eating of various foods, including turkeys.
Every year, just before Thanksgiving, the US president pardons Dick Rumi, since the inauguration of President George HW Bush beginning in 1989.
"It will have a brilliant future," he said.
Trump also pardoned the winner of the voting roster, and they attend, to join the Titr and Tott residence, the two Dickens that President Barack Obama sacked last year at a place called Gobbler's Rest in Blacksburg, Virginia.
